Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has announced an outstanding financial performance for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, driven by operational excellence and strategic expansion into the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. It said on Monday.
According to the unaudited Q3 2025 report, Transcorp Hotels recorded a substantial 49% year-on-year growth in revenue, soaring to ₦72.31 billion in Q3 2025, up from ₦48.49 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
This robust top-line growth translated into significant bottom-line profitability, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) surging by 36% to reach ₦22.4 billion, compared to N16.44 billion achieved in Q3 2024.
Furthermore, the company showcased enhanced efficiency, with its Gross Profit Margin expanding to 76%, a notable increase from 71% in the third quarter of the previous year.
The management attributed this margin expansion to a sustained focus on operational efficiency and superior service delivery across its assets, including the flagship Transcorp Hilton Abuja(Nigeria capital city).
Mr. Emmanuel Nnorom, Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc, commented on the results, emphasizing the foundational elements of their strategy:
“This impressive Q3 performance underscores our time-tested strategy focused on cost discipline, operational efficiency, and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. We remain committed to delivering sustainable profitability and long-term value for our investors.”
A significant factor driving the growth is the successful launch and integration of the new, world-class event facility.
Mrs. Uzo Oshogwe, Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, highlighted the strategic impact of the new asset, the 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre:
“Our Q3 2025 results reflect our unwavering drive for excellence and our commitment to redefining hospitality in Africa.
The luxury hotel earlier in June reported a strong performance for the first half of 2025, with a significant 60% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching ₦47.57 billion from ₦29.72 billion in H1 2024.
The Transcorp Centre is fast establishing itself as a key destination for large-scale international meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), effectively diversifying the company’s revenue streams and solidifying its market dominance.
