Google Names 15 AI-Driven Startups for 10th Google for Startups Accelerator Africa

Google has officially announced the 15 startups selected for the 10th cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa program. Selected from a pool of nearly 2,600 applicants—an acceptance rate of less than 1%—the 2026 class is heavily focused on AI-native solutions tackling infrastructure, financial inclusion, and supply chain gaps.

The 10th cohort includes startups from Angola, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.
